I've gathered a few bits that don't necessarily constitute a full post of their own, so I'll stick them together in one here. First, this little parcel I received today! Interesting looking packaging... You can tell who's in there already! These are 1/20 hand-painted resin customs from PCC Studio in China. I imported these myself rather than going through a middle-man, which is a first for me for custom resin pieces. Since it's drastically cheaper doing it this way, I ordered 5, just in case any faced damage during shipping. I've had some bad luck with damage to resin figures in the past. Luckily they all arrived safe and sound. It's cool to see the variance in hand-painted items like this! I'm really fond of the one in the middle who is giving the most scathing side-eye!! Other than these guys, I received this giant sleeping Eevee for Christmas from my mother: I had mentioned wanting the new sleeping Rockruff, and I think she might have confused the two - not that I mind whatsoever, it's such a sweet present! She's too big to even fit in the lightbox to show you properly. I'm quite particular about the Eevee items that I grab - I have quite a specific taste in Eevee, as with Vulpix and Entei - but she fits into all my preferences. Here she is with the others (she can still barely fit): Lastly, a friend of mine asked me to source a Sneasler plush as a Christmas gift for someone, and the only place I could find one still in stock was the Korean Pokemon Centre. Since we were ordering from there anyway, I couldn't resist picking up something I've had my eyes on for a very, very long time... This beautiful 3rd Round Entei! As I mentioned, this is another collection Pokemon that I'm quite particular about. The colours and shapes really have to look perfect to my brain for something to be worth grabbing. For a long time I've seen this 3rd Round plush in other Entei collectors' collections and it has stuck out to me as a perfect Entei. I'm really, really glad to have this guy!
That's all for this ecclectic little mixture. Until next time!

A very exciting Pokemon Center promotion for me dropped last month! My parcel arrived, let's peek!! Admittedly, it's a very big parcel... It's the "My Little Bestie" campaign! I did not get absolutely everything with Rockruff on it - I couldn't afford to get everything - but I did succeed in getting everything I wanted, so I'm very happy about that. I was camping on the website right as the items went live, but before I could check out, the full box of 5 magnet clips sold out, so I just grabbed 5 individual ones, checked out, and hoped for the best. Firstly is this Rockruff! This one was quite a bit more expensive than a plush usually is from the Pokemon Centre, and I wasn't really sure why until it arrived - it's HUGE! The fur is so wonderful and soft, and the shaping is excellent. I'm so happy I get to own this guy. Secondly is another Rockruff plush that I needed for my grand catch-up, not a part of the My Little Bestie collection, but since it's another plush I figured I'd put it up top. This is the San-Ei All Star Collection Rockruff, which released September 2024. This one also has a really lovely pattern, I like the muzzle on this one a lot. These are some rubber magnetic clips, to stick on a fridge or other surface and hang a little note to. The Pokemon Centre usually sells things like this in single blind boxes, and then in a full set with one of each kind guaranteed. I waited for this promo to go live on the website and rushed to get one of everything I wanted before they sold out, but the full set of these sold out almost instantly! I'm not sure if it was a mistake or not, but I just added five singles to my cart instead, and ended up with one of each in a full set, thankfully. Here's my little Rockruff! He's very sweet, a great rendition of this artwork. Here are a lot of the other bonus bits. As I mentioned, I got one of everything I wanted from this promo, plus some bonus stickers in case I ever want to use any. The rest of the stuff, for example the frisbee and bowl, didn't really feel pertinent enough to my Rockruff collection to worry about. I grabbed some neat cards while I was putting this parcel together, too! Just some nice ones I was waiting to dip in price, and they did - these were all very cheap. Some cute all together shots, with the sweater I forgot to mention!
Until next time! Received 12th December 2024, opened 1st February 2025. This is a very special post! I was lucky enough to win an original page from the Warriors: Into the Wild graphic novel, auctioned by the illustrators for charity. I had previously been in contact with Natalie to ask if there was any chance they would be able to send me a signed copy of the novel and/or sell me the page in which the Moonstone is first shown, as I own the original Moonstone page from Ravenpaw's graphic novel arc, and I thought it would be a nice thematic set. Unfortunately this wouldn't be a possbility, but nonetheless I was able to win the shown map page. Natalie and Sara were lovely and included both a signed bookplate, and Natalie sent a wonderfully thoughtful small illustration of Redtail (the cat I use as a screenname within the Warriors community) in front of the Moonstone. I truly could not be more lucky and thankful to them both for allowing me to have these wonderful pieces for my little collection. Received 22nd January 2025, opened 1st February 2025. This was a somewhat bittersweet parcel to receive from the forwarding service I've been using in Poland. Their service has always been great, but it seems that they changed which warehouse they were using for this parcel, and unfortunately whoever they moved to had very little regard for the service or treatment of these items. This was a consolidation of a secondhand purchase of the Collector's Edition boxset for "The Ultimate Guide", a secondhand order of four collector's cards ("Goosefeather's Curse", "The Sun Trail", "Thunder Rising", and "The Blazing Star"), two brand new 2025 calendars from Nowa Baśń, and a preorder for a copy of "The Apprentice's Quest" plus collector's card. The calendars were folded and bunched up, the collector's edition box has been beaten and seemingly thrown about, and an entire parcel of four collector's cards is totally missing. I feel awful that such a limited collector's box, that somebody kept in great shape and sold on to me, has been treated so poorly. I'm writing this on the 29th of March and I still have not been reimbursed for the lost cards. Needless to say I've switched service now, so we will see how well my preorder for "Thunder and Shadow" is handled. Thankfully the parts that I was overwhelmingly most excited for ("The Apprentice's Quest", the collector's card with it, and the collector's card from "The Ultimate Guide" boxset) made it out entirely unscathed, and I'm really happy to have them.
There have been such a large amount of Rockruff plushes released in the last little while, seemingly by coincidence as they're coming from lots of different places (Tomy, Pokecen, Jazwares, San-ei). I'm being totally spoiled after years of not seeing many Rockruffs at all! :D I managed to get a couple of them, so here they are: This is a pretty standard plush from Jazwares' 8 inch range. It's kind of a surprise that there wasn't a Rockruff as part of this line before now, but he's very sweet, so better late than never. This one is slightly more... novel, shall we say! This is a China Pokemon Center exclusive, and it is a slap-band plush. The slap bands run through the body, so when activated it sits in this very silly pose. I love how different the browns used on this plush are to lots of other existing Rockruff plushes.
Until next time! Today I got a very exciting parcel from Poland! Everything packed in all nice and safe :) Yayyy! This is an order from the Polish Warriors publisher. Here we have Forest of Secrets (illustrated edition), a novella boxset, and The Clan Guide, plus a little secret. There are illustrated editions of Into the Wild, Fire and Ice, and Forest of Secrets. All three are peppered with these beautiful full illustrations of the scenes. I'm now just missing Fire and Ice. The Clan Guide has so many beautiful illustrations to look through, including these maps of the territories. Here's the lake territories. The contents of the luxurious little envelope: a metal bookmark. I don't use metal bookmarks personally, but this is a lovely detailed piece to display. This is the collector's edition printing that includes Hollyleaf's Story, Tigerstar's Fury, and Ravenpaw's Farewell. They were also printed in standard editions and sold separately. This collector's edition has these beautiful brushed pages. Here are all the goodies that came in the collector's edition box: a drawstring bag, a sandwich box, some postcards, a heart shaped badge, a noteobok, a magnet, a heart shaped charm, and one each of the novella collector's cards.
Polish Warriors is a real treasure-trove of well-made merchandise that is sorely missing from the English speaking world. I'll happily continue to support the team behind them, and get some lovely pieces for my collection. Until next time! Just a couple of bits from the Japanese Pokemon Center today, my friend wanted to order a Chandelure Halloween lamp so I grabbed a few things I wanted. ![]() The "United Wings" deck sleeves, to commemorate a deck played in the TCG championship. Naturally I just like them because it has a lot of my bird babies on them! Two attempts to get the new Starly Re-Ment from blind boxes... and a stark reminder as to why I never try to get the ones I want from blind boxes, as I ended up with two Sentrets lol. The calendar/postcard from this month. I don't collect these seriously, but I would like to one day :) The Rockruff kutakutatatta in small! This is a much nicer size than the medium, in my opinion, though I tend to like things smaller and more huggable. I'm glad to have them both, anyway.
Until next time! A nice box arrived in the post, with a preo-order from April. Let's see what we've got :) ![]() Overview! I found this Chatot retsudan stamps - there's so little documentation of these that I have no idea how many are out there, but even this year I've discovered two Chatot ones I never knew existed, so there could always be more. This one is the only foil one in the little set I bought, I've no idea why, but I love it! Manaphy movie Pokecen sticker sheet. I've been waiting for this to pop up at a decent price for a while (I'm not keen on spending £50+ on a sticker sheet...) and, as so often happens, after waiting two went up for sale cheaply in a very short space of time. For the amount I was paying (~£1) I figured I may as well grab them both, just in case I ever want to use any. A close up of the Chatot on this sheet. It looks so cute!! Manaphy movie settei collection. If you've been following the blog for a while, you'll know that I did already pick up a set of these with Chatot in previously, but again, when I saw it go up for sale I just couldn't resist grabbing it. I have the first in my Chatot flats folder, but I'd like to frame this one and put it in my Chatot shelf. Here's the pre-order from April, that just released in August... Guess who! It's the Raikou, Entei, Suicune Bandai scale world set! ![]() I can finally confirm that these beasts are in fact cats, with that info coming from my very reliable helper. The reason I bought them, naturally, was for Entei. I didn't want to take it out yet as I don't have my Entei shelf all set up, but even in the plastic, it still looks REALLY cool.
That's all for now! I got a couple of little Rockruffs and birds that have been on my list for a while! We'll do the most interesting piece first, for once. Chatot movie pen!! The paper insert is really grimy, so please forgive that in the photos. I've been searching for this pen for a while, and I'm really happy to own it, not in small part because the chatot charm is ADORABLE. Kids figures. Rockruff sleeping has been my icon on another website for ages, so I was so over the moon when I saw it was getting a sleeping kids. The little garden wall re-ment figure. The set looks really cute together, but this one admittedly looks a bit odd on its own. The Rockruff mould itself is adorable, though! There was a Tomy Get collection released at the end of last year with both a Wattrel and a Rockruff, too. I've been really spoilt with the releases lately, I thought Rockruff merch would not be as frequent after S&M ended, and while it has slowed down there's still a pretty regular few bits which makes me very happy!! And lastly, finally, the Corviknight re-ment terrarium. I bought two from this gacha set and got Raboot and Cramorant before telling myself "no more randoms, just buy the set" and... I didn't. Until now! Better late than never. :) It's nice to get a Corviknight piece this year, anyway, seeing as he's not getting as much love now we're into gen 9.
That's all for now! I collect a few things other than Pokemon, and I think I'd like to start posting about them. I might redo some of the site to reflect this if I like how it goes, or I might make a separate site, I haven't really decided yet.
Regardless, I've been looking for sealed boxsets of the original Wayne McLoughlin illustrated editions. Power of Three and Omen of the Stars seem the rarest, so I'm really glad to start this off with this one. I have a little bit of a mix-and-match bundle to post about today! I have some pieces that arrived from Japan very recently, some from a couple of months ago, and some pieces that I ordered to a friend's house in Germany in October 2022 that they then weren't able to send to me until now!! One of the last nine items on my "rares" hitlist, this keychain came in a big bundle with a bunch of others, and thankfully still as new with tag intact. Entei is one of my side collections, and I don't know a lot about the pieces available really. I would assume this is some kind of Get collection candy figure, given that this was one of the ones that came from Germany, but it could be anything! These rubber stamps were also from Germany. I've never seen them before! A little bundle of retsudan stamps. Of course, my reason for picking the bundle up - my boy Chatot was in the lot! This is another thing that I've seen show up very rarely, so I'm very happy to have it, and in brand new condition. This is one of the aforementioned Get collection candy figures. I own one already, but they're so hard to come by that I just grabbed it as it was 1 euro. It looks very similar to the Tomy Chatot figure, you'd be forgiven for mistaking the two. Some cheap Zukan figures. Staravia is missing its wings so I'm not really sure what I'm going to do with it yet! Leaflets of a Get collection and a tomy hanging figures collection. These will be scanned at some point. This one is also from Germany, but from a separate sller from last month. I own this figure loose, so it's lovely to have it in packaging. Some new releases! Pokedex charms of Squawkabilly, Wattrel and Kilowattrel. The medium Rockruff kutakutatatta! He's so big for being a medium size. This is one of my favourite plush series, the Eevee being one of my favourite plushes overall, so I was really excited that Rockruff got one! I can't wait to get hold of the small version, but he was sold out. The I Choose You! Tomy Wattrel plush. It looks VERY derpy from the front, but I was very happy Wattrel got a plush at all - sometimes the starting birds don't get so lucky. A few recent cards I hadn't gotten yet. The art rare is INCREDIBLY cute. I'm planning to keep one in my folder and then one in a display on my wall. All the gets from my Japan parcel!
