They're finally here! Sinnoh Pokemon Fit! Here are the 7 I bought on release day that just arrived today: Very Christmassy! I got two Chatots so that I can have one on the shelf, and take the tag off the other to use as a travel buddy, I also got some pickups for friends, including a Christmas plush! And I got the Autumn tea tin, since I wanted it when it was released and couldn't justify it, but it stayed in stock. It comes with four choco truffle tea bags and four caramel tea bags. I've only tried the choco truffle so far, but it's very nice! As a treat, I recorded an unboxing!

A friend showed me this pin, and it was so lovely I ordered my own immediately! I can't not grab a nice shiny bird. This one is by Lovelesskia and arrived on Saturday. On Tuesday I got this little bundle of goodies from catsroobs. The StarClan/Dark Forest pin is so creative and intriguing, and I love to add to my Warriors fanmerch collection. Today this set of Night in the Woods pins arrived! They were originally released as PAX exclusives, but I think the remaining stock was sold off due to COVID. I'm very glad about it though, as it means I get to own them at retail price.
I finally set up forwarding! This will make pokecen gets very much cheaper. I picked up a couple of things that I didn't grab when they were released to test the system out! (In fact I got two of the mugs, so that I can use one!)
I got my copy of the Russian Warriors fanzine! It's absolutely incredible. I got both the regular and gold copies, as they're both so cool, I couldn't resist.
I don't think I've posted my Bill collection to this blog before, and the gets for it are few and far between, but here's one! This is the Japanese e-reader card for Dōubutsu no Mori e+, which was the updated Gamecube version of Animal Crossing translated back into Japanese and released for the Gamecube. Just like amiibo cards now, these e-reader cards could be scanned in at the Wishing Well and the corresponding villager moved into the town!
I received my replacement set! I was heartbroken when this set arrived broken, but getting the intact set has totally cheered me up. Staraptor is a great size and Starly is adorably little. I could not be happier with this set!
I don't hardcore collect Pidgey, but when there are nice bird Pokémon items going cheap, I do like to grab them if I think they're cool! In that vein, I grabbed this Pidgey settei set here!
I picked up some goodies from ebay and Null! These two are magnetic figures. They have a hole to sit inside the pokeballs, and the small tokens are magnetic - when tapped to the bottom of the pokeball, they open up! I don't know what they're called and I can't find any promotional material for them, but it seems like they were released for the Manaphy movie and most of the promo Pokémon featured in that movie were in the set. The rest of these goodies are from my friend, Null! This is a Chatot dice. There are dice for lots of Pokémon, and there's a different one on each side. I was searching for this for a little while, as sometimes sellers will only show one side of the dice, so I had to remember which other Pokémon featured on the Chatot dice. In the end Null just got an extra in a lot of other stuff, so I didn't have to search very hard at all. Some rubbers! This is a window cling. A little puzzle that you put a coin into. And a little freebie from Null! This is something called a "Pair card". I don't know anything else about it. I wonder if it has anything to do with the Chatot and Beedrill figure keychain?
I received my KING Studios Starly/Staravia/Staraptor 1/20 scale resin figures, but sadly the Staraptor tail is broken. I'll have a replacement coming soon!
Back with another chatot gets box to share! What's inside? :D Here's everything out of the box! Buyee have started using these green envelopes which are quite nice. First is this movie Tomy set! I love to grab sealed stuff when I see it, and this one is in pretty good nick. Then there's this little movie charm! I don't know much about it, but it was up for ages so I decided to finally grab it. I finally grabbed the nanoblock! I couldn't find a chatot single up for sale when I had packages already going, but one turned up at a convenient time. The blocks are so tiny! It took a little while to put together with my shaky hands lol. They give you a spare of every kind of block, which is very appreciated. I could see those tiny things getting lost! One adorable sticker set! I love the little chatot on the swing. I'd never seen this sheet before it popped up, and I spent more than I'd like to admit on it haha. Pleased with it nonetheless! This is a little pokedoll washcloth. The chatot pokedoll got used a lot in the early days — I'm continually surprised (and grateful) it made it into the plush stage. Here's a movie popcorn bucket! I'm surprised how new it seems. Last but certainly not least, I managed to pick up this copy of Pokemon Wonderland volume 8 from July 2006!! Its condition is practically pristine: Here you can see the promo card and sticker sheets are entirely intact. And a couple of my favourite pages! I have a scan of the merch promo page (which has been great for tracking down exactly what I'm missing) but owning it in the flesh feels incredibly cool. There's also a cute manga short story in the back, featured and incredibly sweet version of chatot!
I'm working on getting a new shelf finished so that I can dedicate two to chatot, which means I'll have room to hang a corkboard for my flats in the back. I'm very excited to get that all finished! That's all for now! |
